SWITCH2CE Employability Study in Circular Manufacturing, Waste sorting and Collection, Recycling I Client: Circle Economy, UNIDO
I am leading the data collector team consisting of 15 enumerators to conduct 300 quantitative surveys, 50 qualitative surveys, 4-6 key informant interviews and 2-3 focus group discussions around different clusters of Bangladesh with a target sample population of 50% female and 50% male, 50% inside Dhaka and 50% outside Dhaka, 50% in formal employment and 50% informal employment, along with majority of respondent being in the age range of 18-29 years. The study aims to better understand the existing employability practices in circular manufacturing, waste sorting and collection, and recycling to pave the path towards future betterment towards employment quantity and range, fair wages and economic security, health, safety and wellbeing and Rights and representation.

Water saving in textile and germent industry (WaSaTex) I Client: GIZ and H&M
Assisted in process analysis, data collection and reports writing of process optimization of 50 textile factories in Bangladesh by subsequent baseline, support, trail and validation visits. I have also contributed to the case studies prepared on the 21 topics.
Project 230294 Digital Product Passport I Client: UNIDO
Led the local data collection in the Global South, particularly in Bangladesh, from 30 factories to capture data on the readiness and awareness of the Digital Product Passport based on a survey of 73 questions prepared by UNIDO.
Technical support to accompany academia-industry network events I Client: HELD, GIZ
Prepared concept notes, planned and facilitated two cohesive academia-industry nexus on Green jobs and Job Matching. After implementation of the network sessions, I have completed 4 reports on mentorship for textile engineering students, women empowerment in the Bangladeshi textile and education sector, green jobs for the Bangladeshi textile sector and related industries, and job matching for the Bangladeshi youth, integrating lessons and insights from network sessions and literature review. Finally, presented the outcome in the final consultation forum of the HELD project.

It has been an absolute privilege of mine to wrap up the sixth-month-long chapter of ICTSE 2024 (May 23, 2024), organized by the Faculty of Textile Chemical Engineering, BUTEX, as the role of "Head of Volunteers." The day-long conference was filled with enthusiastic and informative presentations of 34 scientific papers and 12 scientific posters.

During these 8 weeks, our team explored the whole factory, especially focusing on yarn-fabric dyeing, fabric finishing, lab dyeing, knitting, quality inspections, planning, R & D, Design Studio, and garments sections.
